Meeting and Events: Meetings will be held as needed to keep members informed of events, socials, or other
club business. A strategy session will be held at least annually to ensure strategies, plans, and future events
are well coordinated and executed.
Annual Events:
1) The Citadel Alumni Muster held near the birthday of the Corps of Cadets (March 20) of
each year.
2) Cadet Sendoff Barbeque (June or July).
3) College Fairs and recruiting for The Citadel (usually in
October).
4) Christmas Social (held in December).
Monthly Events: An informal Citadel Luncheon will be held about once monthly. This will be held at various locations and local restaurants. All members are encouraged to attend and suggest a good location/restaurant for the next meeting.
CLUB DUES: Annual dues for Regular Members are $10 per year per Citadel family. The money collected goes back into the support of club events or Citadel related programs. The Battalion Commander, Executive Officer or Adjutant will collect the money annually. Dues are due in January of each year. What is the money used for? Here are some examples: Expenses related to The Alamo Battalion website, a small gift (plaques, etc.) for Guest Speakers, or other distinguished visitors in support of The Alamo Battalion, Other Citadel Club related expenses such as mailings, website, etc., Expenses related to High School visits, recruiting, or others in support of The Citadel.
Note: All graduates, former cadets, and extended Citadel family members are encouraged to contribute, but you do not have to be a dues paying member to participate in any Alamo Battalion function.
